Introduction
e-TH#LEADER governs Data Center (DC) optimized for management of information and communication technology (ICT) resources, like Physical Private Servers (PPS), Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Crypto Private Servers (CPS) and supporting ICT resources.
HVAC
All ICT resources in our DC (PPS, VPS and CPS) are completely cooled by filtered air which is supplied from the container room with almost constant temperature over the years. For the purpose of ventilation, production fans with specially selected performance curves are used, which meet the requirements of the ISO 5801 and AMCA 210-99 standards. The average annual relative humidity (RH) of the air for the DC varies in the range of 40-65% due to the extraction of air from a huge container room, with the ideal value of the RH parameter for ICT equipment 45-55%.
Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency (PUE) is a ratio that describes how efficient a DC is using energy and in particular how much energy is used by the ICT resources itself (PPS, VPS and CPS) relative to the resources supporting it (cooling and lighting). PUE is the ratio of the total amount of energy used by the entire DC to the energy supplied for the needs of the computing equipment. The PUE parameter was initially set by the Green Grid consortium and then a global standard according to ISO/IEC 30134-2:2016 – Information technology – Data centers – Key performance indicators – Part 2:Energy efficiency (PUE) was published. The ideal value of the PUE parameter for the data center is 1.0, this 0 energy is used for cooling and lighting. Our DC has a PUE=1.06, which is classified as a Green Data Center (GDC).
